FIEO, in association with the All-India Plastics Manufacturers Association (AIPMA), is organizing a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) during Plastiworld India from 23–25 March 2026 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, creating a focused sourcing platform to connect buyers and sellers across multiple segments from India and abroad. The global plastic trade is approximately USD 1,300 billion, with India’s exports at about USD 12.5 billion (around 1.1% of the world), and the event’s objective is to elevate India’s position as a global sourcing hub for plastic products by engaging buyers from top importing countries and showcasing India’s diverse range. With growing demand for alternatives to traditional manufacturing hubs, Plastiworld will highlight India’s potential as a dynamic, reliable, and sustainable source for finished plastic products.
The event will connect India’s small and medium enterprises with overseas buyers, buying houses, buying agents, and e-commerce sourcing professionals through one-on-one B2B meetings to foster new export opportunities and strengthen global relationships. The 2026 edition will feature 225+ Indian exhibitors (largely registered manufacturers/exporters) across categories including houseware (kitchenware, tableware), home décor and gifts, toys and stationery, plastic home furniture, floor coverings, footwear, packaging materials, garbage/shopping/poly bags, tarpaulins, ropes and covers, garden products and planters/garden furniture, building materials, and optical frames and sunglasses.
Hosted foreign buyers (one person per company) will receive reimbursement of return economy airfare subject to a capped limit (shared after shortlisting), two nights’ hotel stay with airport transfers, and access to the expo and networking. International buyers should register online at Buyer Registration Plastiworld 2026; applications will be reviewed by a screening committee, with final decisions communicated by the last week of January 2026. The last date to register as a hosted buyer is 15 December 2025.
