Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has been working closely with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) and NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) towards building a stronger and vibrant ecosystem for start-ups, academia, and the Indian Industry in the Space sector.
Taking its endeavor further, CII is organising an International Conference on Space from 8 - 9 September 2025 in Bengaluru, India with the support of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), Department of Space, GoI.
The International Conference on Space aims to leverage the potential of space technology for building stronger nations. One of the key features of the conference is the participation of partner countries. The conference witness deliberations of key imperatives, drivers, trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Space sector. The conference is a significant platform to forge and foster joint ventures and partnership opportunities between lndia and the partner countries in the Space and related sectors.
This year, the two- day Conference, is planned with the theme of ‘‘Harnessing Space for Global Progress: Innovation, Policy, and Growth’’. The conference would focus on the initiatives taken by the Indian Government, ISRO, INSPACe & NSIL towards encouraging and engaging space start-ups, academia, and the Indian Industry towards further strengthening the space sector. The Conference would also deliberate on the strengthening indigenous capabilities, fostering innovation, and developing a highly skilled workforce, enhancing demand for space-based technologies across various sectors and opportunities for the international collaborations.
